I always like to go back to the old days wherein I used to struggle and almost “cry” trying hard ti make money online. Well, I still struggle today but never cry anymore. π So I can say one thing that has really made me up on internet marketing is the startup income. During those hard times, I have the money to cover up all failing projects and dumb purchases. It’s also evident to see that when you’re carving up something online or even offline, you need to have some startup cash to cover your expenses. Jason always points it out in some of his post saying you have to work for some small income first to get you online for bigger things. I agree on that. Before I was doing some freelancing to cover up some PPC cost and advertising expenses. Of course its risky because you will 85% sure fail. But well I was more of yearning about learning that time.
Well, if you’re thinking how you can build some initial income here’s what I can suggest to you:
- Forum Posting – This one is easy but you have to have hardwork. Forumsfirst pays $0.20 for each 40 word comment. They pay via paypal and the minimum is $10. If you type very fast (like me) and have a great WPM accuracy then a $10 can be easily made by an hour. Cool!
- GPT – A while a back ago I asked Jim of the Netfool why he is promoting GPT sites. He responded saying because everyone can make money from it so easy. All you have to do is complete free offers. Check out The Net Fools GPT sites.
- Freelancing – Before I used to embark a lot of time in this one. Before I used to have a good grammar before blogging made my grammar look atrocious! If you’re up on writing articles, coding and so then this one is for you.
- Digital Point – Last month I made a post about how you can make a living on DP forum. Again DP has an enormous opportunity on making money. You can join contests, do some data entry jobs and boast yyour portfolio there. After all there is no middle man so you get a fair share of everything.
Of course there are tons of it but at least these are what I can say have worked for me well. At the end it is all about determination and hardwork. I guess it always pays off at the end.
hmmm… why am I getting a lot of trackbacks?
I am not sure, but those might be spam trackbacks. My apology if they are genuine…
Thanks for the suggestions. I am currently struggling to make money online. Luckily, I found your post. π
@bobbyt, yeah i think you’re right… i am seeing they are scraping my content.. thnx..
You can call me as a guy who is struggling to make money online. I’m glad I read this post. Thank you. π
Nice info there Melvin.
Blogging has made your grammar terrible? I find that blogging has made my typing, grammar and in general english skills better. Maybe it’s the way you type and your character though :).
Nice post mate.
Awesome! Thanks for the link back Melvin, I really enjoyed the other links you posted, especially the one about making money on the Digital Point forums… that’s a great one! π
hehe.. someone is getting scraped! It is sad to know the scraping of content issue.. it hurts me a lot though..
Coming to the post π you pointed out some good direction for newbie guyz.. Can u say me why you invest in PPC campaign ?

well done! these are some pretty nice point i have tried jason and jim concepts but jim’s concept worked fast but badly i expiremented two concepts from jason one is site flipping which is just picking up now after weeks of struggle and next is ebook selling which i was badly fooled coz before buying that resell ebooks i donno that there are so many other people selling this same, not just so many there are tons of people andΒ as jason said i used forums – almost done some 100 posts for each day to make this work but i hardly made 2 sales after 3 weeks π
Great post. The idea is that everybody has to start somewhere so this post will definitely help a lot of the newcomers get a start on their income to help them with the cost of hosting or other things. Great post.
At the moment, I’m struggling to make NO money online…so this post, and the rest of your blog may be very helpful to me. Thank you!
Great stuffs, Melvin. Though I don’t write as much as you, the forum posting looks like a decent source of income and GPT sounds pretty interesting too.

start-up income, oh god! whenever i think about my losses with ppc-affiliate, i’ve become more and more afraid to try and test out new campaigns. this type of business is really high-risk but high-return. it’s like a typical brick & mortar business, you invest an amount upfront, tweak campaigns (in a typical business – manage your sales, inventory, etc. etc.) to make it more profitable, then you either get burned or make a killing out of it
