Well everyone knows that Alexa is useless, even me. But still I feel a little (just a little) elated when I saw my Alexa going down from over 2,600,000 to 1,600,000 which is a great spike. Heck I don’t even use social media marketing yet…
Yet another busy day for me…
I don’t understand Alexa at all. Even more than that Technorati! Everytime I try to create an account there I get a message that there was some problem.
I want to say something to you, Melvin. Ever since you installed that Top Commentators Plugin in your sidebar, I can see that you are getting more and more comments. Hell, even I’m commenting a lot to become a top commentator. 😉
Alexa technically is useless but it builds reputation if you have high rankings on it.
@ganesh well take time to study it and you’ll find it’s not worth doing it 🙂 well yeah the comments increased drastically but so as the spams and useless craps…
I also notice a huge change, from around 2,000,000 to 1,000,000
I also thought that Alexa was useless once. Now I’m not so sure about that since more and more webmasters are starting to take Alexa’s Ranking more seriously in the past few months.
@rajaie i think alexa is giving what we really deserve.. 😉
@ikki alexa can be useless but god damn it’s still a basis for everything
I know. I can’t really see how Alexa affects my ranking. Right now, I think I have 0. lol.
Nice Work. Mine is continuing to rise. But I wont be satisfied till I am under the 100,000 mark.
congrats
this is a huge fall 😛
mine rank is 468,38405
I mean 4,68,405
People that say Alexa rankings are useless are generally doing so because their own rank isn’t very good. I’ve almost broken 100,000, so obviously I like it somewhat. I feel that it is a lot better than Google Pagerankat any rate 😉
@jim exactly jim.. they don’t have a great rank…
