Like any other stuffs in the world, social networks have increased a lot these days. You can submit your own content, find great discussions and chunk in with a lot of traffic. But well not all managed to create a buzz for themselves. So now I am going to talk about Sphinn, a social network for everyone who is involve in internet marketing, SEO, and blogging and so. Sphinn probably is one of my big favorites. It is owned by SEO godfather Danny Sullivan. They are like digg (not as polluted though) wherein you can submit your content. People who like it will sphinn it and those who do not will bury it.
One thing with I like with Sphinn is that it’s very educational and you can learn a lot from it. Before I used to jack up my content there and hope for a share of traffic. When you look at Sphinn, it has a lot of interesting posts there gathered and compiled. Unlike Digg who can easily be gamed, Sphinn prefers to be different. I like the way they nofollow links from the sites that do not hit the frontpage. It’s a great way to measure the quality of the articles. Most of the articles and entries there are about SEO and SEM which I am very interested about.
Oh well… Maybe someday they can release a book with the compilations of the best entries. Just my 2 cents
Sphinn has done a great job with marketing and promotion! They have reached out to many people and it’s a company with some financial support! Dedicated staff members wow this is a role model site for blogengage! I would like to be just like this site someday but specifically for bloggers of course!
I think the only social site I know of and have not been involved in is Sphinn. I almost lost it in my radar till I read your article today. I’d better register now lest I miss it again the next time round.

great find melvin.. i think i stumbled upon this social networking site before but decided not to sign up for a user account. perhaps this time around.
Sphinn is a fantastic resource and they also do a great job of keeping on top of SPAM and that indicates how quality their site is.
Thanks,
JR
It’s easy to get lost in the archives on Sphinn.. Information overload if you’re not careful! Knowledge is power 🙂
Cool.
Will check it out ASAP.
@brian yeah you have said it well and clear… they set their own standards
I have never used Sphinn at all. I guess now is the time to do so though. Forums are a very good place to build friendships and opportunities.
Great website, very high quality..
thanks!
