perhaps the main points of the 3 bloggers you cited can be summarized into “presence and impact”. no matter how they lobby barehanded but because they have established an impressive presence already, they still get what they want. and by impact i mean, no matter how shallow they can be on certain days, they still got the long lasting impact, imprinted on people’s minds.

Certainly all the three bloggers are great and their blogs so awful that once a visitor visits the blog, he cannot come out of that blog.Of course JOHN CHOW ,DOSH DOSH and JACK BOOK are the blogs which cannot be beaten by anybody.These bloggers are greatest in the blogosphere.

I think many blogs are started now-a-days to gain the attention of the people towards ther sites and we are using wordpress(plugin a,themes,etc;) which is helping a lot to make our blog look more attractive .

I own a very popular networking website and if I have learned one thing bloggers don’t’ click many ads! I’m not too sure but maybe it’s because they can’t click Google ads in the first place.

So what I did is switched over to neverblueads so now if a blogger wants to click an ad they won’t get into any issues with google. I’m testing the waters right now in the blog forums but I haven’t been to sucessful with making money online.
